The two lynx that were captured earlier are now in quarantine at the Highland Wildlife Park. They’ll be there for about a month before heading to Edinburgh Zoo.
Interestingly, lynx are part of a rewilding effort. Some people believe they can help control deer populations, which could be good for the forests. There’s talk that around 400 lynx could thrive in the Scottish Highlands if the environment supports them.
