A pregnant teacher tragically lost her life during a hiking accident in Greece, leaving her community in mourning.
Rethymno: It’s such a heartbreaking story. Clara Thomann, a 33-year-old teacher, was hiking in Greece with her partner when tragedy struck. She was six months pregnant and fell 50 meters down a gorge.
This happened on December 23 while they were exploring Crete. Clara suffered severe injuries and was declared brain dead less than a week later. Sadly, she also lost her unborn child in the fall.
