Birmingham rapper Twista Cheese has been convicted for sharing a threatening video regarding Tommy Robinson on social media
Birmingham: So, here’s the scoop. Twista Cheese, a rapper from Birmingham, just got found guilty for posting a video that was deemed pretty menacing about Tommy Robinson. The whole thing went down at the Birmingham Magistrates’ Court.
The guy, whose real name is Omar Abdirizak, was on trial after he denied sending out a grossly offensive message. But the court didn’t buy it. They said he made the video between August 1 and 10 and shared it on social media. It even got picked up by Robinson himself on X, which used to be Twitter.
Initially, there was a charge about conveying false information, but that got dropped. Instead, they hit him with this new charge. During the trial, the judge granted him bail, but it was clear the police had their eyes on him.
This whole mess started after some serious protests erupted across the UK last summer. It was a tough time, especially after three young girls were tragically stabbed in a knife attack in Southport. It’s a wild situation, and more updates are sure to come.
