Blackpool: A tragic incident unfolded at the Gurkha Buffet Restaurant, where a well-loved mother, Sabrina Lyttle, was found dead in a toilet cubicle. She had entered the restaurant on November 28, but it wasn’t until November 30 that her body was discovered.

Authorities have stated that her death is not suspicious, and they are waiting for autopsy results to determine what happened. The restaurant, known for its diverse menu, has finally addressed the situation, as reported by the Mirror.

A spokesperson explained that on the night of November 28, a non-customer asked to use the toilets after the restaurant had closed. Staff directed her to the pub toilets, but access to the disabled toilet was not granted.

They clarified that the disabled toilet is locked and can only be accessed by staff. The regular toilets are cleaned daily, while the disabled one is checked after each use due to its rare usage.

Access to the disabled toilet was only requested the following evening, but staff and patrons couldn’t unlock it. The issue was reported as maintenance, and management couldn’t access it until the next day, prompting them to call the police.

An inquest into Sabrina’s death is set for April 3 at Blackpool Town Hall. Her mother mentioned that customers had trouble entering the cubicle days before the discovery.

Police were alerted to a sudden death on November 30, and they found Sabrina’s body. They expressed their condolences to her family and confirmed that the case is not being treated as suspicious.
