Teignbridge: Drivers in Teignbridge need to brace themselves for some road closures. There are about ten closures coming up this week, and a couple of them might slow you down a bit.

Some of these closures could lead to delays of 10 to 30 minutes, so it’s good to plan ahead. The latest updates from National Highways show the closures scheduled over the next two weeks.

For instance, on the A38, there will be a lane closure for safety repairs from 8 PM on January 6 to 4 AM on January 7. Expect slight delays, but nothing too crazy.

Then, on the A30, there’s a closure for LED upgrades from 8 PM on January 6 to 6 AM on January 7, which might cause moderate delays. So, if you’re heading that way, keep an eye out for diversions.

There are also a few more closures on the A30 and A38 throughout the week, mostly for upgrades and maintenance. Most of them are expected to cause slight delays, but it’s always better to be prepared.

Remember, National Highways mainly looks after the big roads, so smaller road closures won’t be listed here. Just stay alert and drive safe!
