A Rochford man has been issued a new order after repeatedly stalking a victim online
Rochford: So, there’s this guy, Jack Bolton-Poole, who just can’t seem to get it right. He was given an interim stalking protection order last week after he admitted to stalking. This comes just nine weeks after he was slapped with four 10-year restraining orders.
At just 23, he’s already got a pretty serious record. He previously admitted to stalking multiple women, sharing private images, and even messing with the justice system. It’s wild!
On top of those restraining orders, he got a two-year prison sentence, but it was suspended for two years. He was also banned from social media for six months and had to complete 60 days of rehabilitation activities. You’d think that would be enough to set him straight, right?
But nope! Last Thursday, he got a 16-week extension on that suspended sentence and a new 10-year restraining order after he was caught stalking another woman. He was harassing her on social media and even made fake profiles to keep it going. Just unbelievable!
Detective Constable Chris Horton spoke out about the situation, saying this kind of behavior is just not okay. It really messes with the victims’ lives, causing them a lot of stress and fear.
He made it clear that they won’t tolerate this kind of online harassment and will keep doing everything they can to protect women from guys like Bolton-Poole. It’s about time someone took a stand!
