Rowswood Timber is collecting coats to help those in need during the freezing weather in Warrington
Warrington: Rowswood Timber is doing something really nice for the community. They’ve kicked off a winter coat appeal called ‘Coats for Coffee’ to help those in need during this chilly weather.
Based on Hatton Lane, the company is asking folks to donate any old coats they might have lying around. They plan to distribute these coats to people who really need them in Warrington.
With the temperatures dropping, these coats will definitely be a blessing for many. They even posted on Facebook, asking if anyone has old coats taking up space in their closets.
They’re offering a little incentive too! If you bring in a coat, you can swap it for a nice cup of coffee. How cool is that?
The post highlighted how important it is to help each other out during these freezing times. They’re committed to taking the coats and getting them to those who need them most.
So far, the response has been great! In just over 20 hours, they’ve already received more than 20 coat donations. The team even spent some time last night handing them out to people in need.
They recently updated everyone, saying the coats they collected were distributed and really appreciated. But they’re not stopping there. They’ve learned that people need more than just coats; they’re also looking for shoes, jumpers, and trousers.
Plus, if anyone has leftover mince pies or unopened Christmas food, they’re happy to take those too! It’s all about helping out those who could use a little extra support.
If you want to pitch in, just drop off any of these items at Rowswood Timber’s location at Pillmoss Barn, Hatton Lane, Warrington, WA4 4DA. Every little bit helps!
