Russell Brand has been fined for speeding while facing serious allegations
But it doesn’t stop there. He also got nabbed for going 37mph in a 30mph zone near his home in Oxfordshire. The court heard all about it, and now he’s £3,457 poorer and has eight points on his license. Ouch!
He didn’t even show up for the hearing, which is a bit surprising. They slapped him with three points for the slower speed and five for the faster one.
On top of this, he’s under investigation for some serious allegations involving multiple women. An evidence file has been sent to the Crown Prosecution Service to see if he’ll face charges.
This all came to light after a big investigation last year revealed that four women accused him of sexual assaults from 2006 to 2013. Brand has denied these claims, insisting that all his relationships were consensual. It’s a lot for him to deal with right now.
