Russell Brand has admitted to speeding at 95mph on the M4, facing fines and points on his license for multiple offenses
Slough: So, Russell Brand just pleaded guilty to speeding. He was caught zooming down the M4 at 95mph, which is way over the 70mph limit. This happened last June, and it’s not his only speeding issue.
He also got nabbed for driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone near his home in Shiplake back in March. The court heard all about it, but Russell didn’t even show up for the hearing.
The judge handed him some penalty points—three for the 37mph and five for the 95mph. That’s on top of the three he already had. Ouch! He ended up with a fine of £3,457 for all the trouble.
But that’s not all. Russell is also under investigation for some serious allegations of sex crimes from several women. An evidence file has been sent to the Crown Prosecution Service to see if he’ll face charges.
This all came to light after a big investigation by The Sunday Times and Channel 4 Dispatches, revealing accusations from four women about incidents between 2006 and 2013. Russell has denied these claims, insisting that all his relationships were consensual.
