San Diego: Four guys from the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at SDSU are in hot water. They just pleaded not guilty to some serious charges after a pledge got set on fire during a party. Ouch!

The guys involved are Caden, Lucas, Christopher, and Lars. They were in court recently facing charges like causing a fire that hurt someone badly and trying to cover it up. If they get found guilty, they could be looking at some serious time behind bars.

This wild incident happened back in February last year at a party. Apparently, there was a challenge to set one of the pledges on fire, which led to him getting burned pretty badly. Not cool at all!

The prosecutors say that after the fire, the fraternity brothers tried to hide what happened. They even deleted stuff from social media and told others to do the same. Talk about a bad move!

After their court appearance, they were let go but have to follow some rules. They can’t go to any fraternity parties or recruitment events for now. Sounds like a smart move on their part.

Recently, Phi Kappa Psi was one of several fraternities at SDSU that got suspended due to some misconduct issues. The school is taking this seriously and wants to make sure everyone stays safe.

Some students have shared that parties at SDSU have been getting out of hand lately. One sorority member mentioned that it’s pretty common for people to get so drunk they end up in the hospital. Yikes!
