Urfan Sharif, convicted of murdering his daughter, is scared of more attacks in prison after being slashed by fellow inmates
Woking: So, Urfan Sharif, the dad of little Sara Sharif, is really on edge about going back to jail. He got attacked in his cell with a tuna can lid, and now he’s worried it could happen again.
This guy, 43, was jumped by two other inmates who slashed his neck and face. He’s been getting treatment in the healthcare unit at HMP Belmarsh, which is pretty tough. A source said he’s lucky to be alive after that attack.
Right now, he’s not back with the other prisoners and might even end up in solitary for his own safety. It seems like everyone knows who he is and what he did, and that makes him a target. Other inmates might try to attack him again, just like they did before.
Sharif was sentenced to at least 40 years for the horrific murder of his daughter, who suffered so much abuse. He and his partner, Beinash Batool, were found guilty of a two-year campaign of torture against Sara. It’s just heartbreaking.
After the attack, the prison staff are doing their best to keep him safe, but isolating him forever isn’t really an option. He can’t hide from other inmates for too long, and they might not take kindly to him being in there.
It’s wild to think that he’s in a place with other serious criminals, and many of them don’t like child abusers. They’re saying he got what he deserved, and honestly, it’s hard to argue with that.
