London: So, you heard about that guy, Urfan Sharif? He’s the one who killed his 10-year-old daughter, Sara. Well, he just got attacked in prison on New Year’s Day.

Apparently, some inmates got to him and slashed his neck with a tuna can lid. Can you believe that? This happened just two weeks after he was sentenced for his daughter’s horrific murder.

Sharif was at HMP Belmarsh when the attack went down. He’s 43 and was sentenced to 40 years for the awful abuse he put Sara through. It’s just heartbreaking.

When police found Sara, she had over 70 injuries. She was treated so badly that she became incontinent. The court said she went through unimaginable pain and suffering.

After the attack, Sharif was in critical condition but somehow survived. The prison service is looking into what happened, but they’re keeping quiet for now.

The Metropolitan Police are also on it, checking out the assault allegations. They said Sharif’s injuries aren’t life-threatening, which is a small relief.

Both Sharif and Sara’s stepmother, Beinash Batool, got life sentences for the years of torture they inflicted on the poor girl. It’s just sickening.

Even Sara’s uncle, Faisal Malik, got 16 years for allowing her death. The judge really laid it out, saying her death was the result of years of neglect and abuse.

It’s just a tragic story all around, and it’s hard to wrap your head around how someone could treat a child like that.
