The search for two missing sisters in Aberdeen has now reached the coast as police continue their efforts to locate them
Aberdeen: The search for two sisters, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, has taken a new turn. They went missing early Tuesday morning, and now the police are looking along the coast.
The sisters were last spotted on Market Street at around 2:12 AM. It’s a bit concerning, right? Police have been searching the area and even sent divers into the River Dee, where they were last seen on CCTV.
Detectives don’t think anything suspicious has happened, which is a relief. Their brother, József, asked everyone to stop spreading rumors. He mentioned that the sisters, who are originally from Hungary, seemed perfectly fine just days before they disappeared.
In fact, they had a long chat with their mom, and everything seemed normal. Their sister, Edit, even video-called them on New Year’s Eve, and they looked happy. It’s just so out of character for them to be out at that hour.
Eliza and Henrietta are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. Henrietta works at a Costa Coffee in Aberdeen, so she’s a familiar face around town.
Ch Insp Darren Bruce from Police Scotland said they’re doing everything they can to find the sisters. They’re using police dogs and their marine unit to help with the search.
He’s also asking local businesses to check their CCTV footage from that night. If anyone has dashcam footage, they should reach out to the police. They really want to hear from anyone who might have seen the sisters or knows anything about their whereabouts.
It’s a tough situation, and everyone is hoping for a safe return.
