Police are seeking information on the theft of Lurcher puppies taken from a Dorset home shortly after Christmas
Shroton: So, here’s the scoop. Police are on the lookout for some adorable five-week-old Lurcher puppies that were snatched from their home. Can you believe it?
These little pups were still nursing when some thieves broke into a rural property and made off with them. It’s just heartbreaking!
They loaded the seven puppies into a white Audi A1 just three days after Christmas. Talk about a Grinch move!
Their owner, Anna Dow, is absolutely devastated and has even put up a reward for anyone who can help bring them back.
Police are asking anyone who might have seen something suspicious or has info about the puppies to step forward. They really want to get these little guys back home.
The theft happened in Shroton, Dorset, between 10:50 PM and 11:10 PM on December 28. It’s a small window, so hopefully, someone saw something.
They’ve already arrested a 28-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman on suspicion of burglary, but they need more eyes on the ground.
PC Sebastian Haggett from the Rural Crime Team is urging anyone with doorbell or CCTV footage to check it out. Even dashcam footage from drivers in the area could help.
They’re especially interested in that white Audi A1 that was spotted nearby. If you’ve seen it, don’t keep quiet!
