Seven individuals were taken into custody following the discovery of a man collapsed in Liverpool’s city center with a suspected head injury
Liverpool: A man was found collapsed in the city center, leading to a significant police response. Seven people were arrested, and the youngest was just 15 years old.
The incident happened around 12:45 AM on January 2. Paramedics alerted the police after discovering the man on Hanover Street, near Church Street. He had a suspected head injury but is expected to recover.
When reporters arrived, they saw a large cordon set up at the junction of Wood Street and Hanover Street, stretching from O’Neill’s Irish bar to Popworld nightclub. There was also a smaller cordon near a kebab shop on Bold Street.
Police conducted witness interviews and reviewed CCTV footage. The seven arrested include a mix of ages and locations, with charges related to wounding and possession of drugs.
