Seven individuals have been arrested following a shooting in Hartlepool, with one man seriously injured and receiving treatment in hospital
Hartlepool: The incident took place on Garside Drive on January 2 around 4:15 PM.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and found a man with suspected gunshot wounds.
He was quickly taken to the hospital, where he’s still being treated for serious injuries.
Cleveland Police have confirmed that they arrested five men aged 19, 21, 23, and two aged 32, along with two women aged 34 and 54.
All seven are currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
A Cleveland Police statement said, “Seven people have been arrested in connection with an incident on Thursday, January 2, 2025, where a man was left seriously injured from suspected gunshot wounds on Garside Drive, Hartlepool.”
They added, “The injured man, in his thirties, remains in the hospital receiving treatment.”
