A Slimming World group in Ashburton has secured a new venue at Buckfastleigh Rangers Social Club, ensuring support for its members year-round
Ashburton: A local Slimming World group has found a cozy new spot at a social club. They were on the hunt for a permanent place and reached out to Buckfastleigh Rangers Social Club.
The club was more than happy to welcome them in. Kathrin Porter, the Slimming World Consultant, shared her excitement. She mentioned how important it is for them to provide consistent support for their members all year round.
She can’t wait to see both old and new faces at this lovely venue. The Chairman of Buckfastleigh Rangers Social Club, Matt Wicks, also expressed his enthusiasm. He highlighted that the club is a not-for-profit venue that has seen some major upgrades recently.
Located right in the heart of the Buckfastleigh community, it features a car park, two meeting rooms, a kitchen, and ramped access for everyone. It’s a fantastic place for events, parties, and training sessions, available for hire every day of the week.
Matt added that they’re thrilled to have Kathrin and her members as their new, permanent users. It sounds like a great partnership!
