A man suffered fractured ribs after an attempted robbery in Slough, prompting police to seek witnesses and information about the incident
Slough: On Friday evening, around 7pm, a man was just minding his own business when he got punched in the face on Upton Lea Parade, Wexham Road.
Things got worse when another guy jumped out of a parked black BMW and joined in on the attack.
It looks like they were trying to snatch the man’s phone. Poor guy ended up in the hospital with fractured ribs, cuts on his face, and a lot of bruising. Thankfully, he’s been discharged now.
Police are really keen to hear from anyone who might have seen what happened. They described the first attacker as an Asian man in his fifties, about 6 feet tall and pretty muscular.
He had short black hair and a trimmed beard, dressed all in black. The second guy was a British Asian in his early twenties, around 5 foot 8, and might have been wearing a hooded top.
DC Lauren Rose, the investigating officer, is asking anyone who was around that area or has any doorbell or dashcam footage to reach out.
