Nearly 30 patrons at a North Yorkshire pub are feeling the effects after being snowed in for 48 hours during a wild winter storm
North Yorkshire: So, a bunch of folks got snowed in at the Tan Hill Inn, which is the highest pub in Britain. They’ve been stuck there for two days thanks to some serious snow. Can you imagine? Almost 30 people, including a little kid and a dog, are holed up in this famous pub.
They were cut off after heavy snowfall, even though there were warnings about it. But hey, it’s not all doom and gloom! They’ve been keeping busy with movies, snowball fights, and, of course, drinks.
Nicole, the pub manager, mentioned that everyone’s got a bit of a headache from partying too hard. She said it was pretty quiet this morning after a wild night with a bottle of scotch. They even had a movie day, watched “The Goonies,” and enjoyed some tea.
People were taking showers and then heading back down to join the fun. There was music too, with some guests playing guitar. It sounds like a blast!
This isn’t the first time the Tan Hill Inn has made headlines. Back in 2021, 50 people got stuck there after an Oasis tribute band concert. The owner, Andrew, is all about making sure everyone is taken care of, even in these tricky situations.
