Power restoration efforts are ongoing in Inverness after traffic lights failed at Ness Bridge, causing disruptions for drivers and pedestrians.
Inverness: So, there’s been a bit of a hiccup in the city today. The traffic lights at Ness Bridge are out, and it’s causing some chaos for drivers and pedestrians alike.
Apparently, there was an overnight power outage due to a fault in an underground cable. SSE is on the case, trying to figure out what went wrong.
Highland Council got wind of the issue and jumped in to help. They found out that the power supply was down, and now SSEN is working hard to fix it.
They’ve asked everyone to be patient while they sort things out. With winter weather making things trickier, they’re really urging folks to be extra careful when crossing the road.
So, if you’re in Inverness today, just keep your eyes peeled and take it slow. They’re doing their best to get those lights back up and running!
