Stormzy has been banned from driving for nine months after being caught using his phone while behind the wheel of his luxury car
London: So, Stormzy just got hit with a nine-month driving ban. Can you believe it? An undercover cop caught him using his phone while driving his fancy Rolls-Royce.
This all went down in west Kensington last March. The rapper, whose real name is Michael, didn’t even show up in court. He just sent a letter admitting he was guilty.
The officer knocked on his tinted window and told him to stop using his phone. Pretty straightforward, right? But it turns out Stormzy had also been driving a Lamborghini with super dark windows that were way too tinted.
He got pulled over again recently, and the judge wasn’t impressed. With six points already on his license, he got slapped with a nine-month ban and a fine of over two grand.
His lawyer said Stormzy knows he messed up and has taken off the tints. It’s a bit of a mess, but at least he’s owning up to it. More updates on this story are sure to come!
