A proposal has been made to convert a Tadley property into a 10-bedroom HMO, aiming to accommodate more residents.
Tadley: So, there’s this plan to turn a house on The Green into a 10-bedroom HMO. The application is in, and it’s looking to get the green light from the council.
The current setup has about six folks living there since September 2024. The owner, Harminder Hunjan, thinks it’s time to up the number of residents.
They want to keep the place as it is, just with more people. The house has two kitchens, a lounge, and even a couple of ensuites. Sounds pretty spacious, right?
On the first floor, there are more bedrooms and bathrooms, so it seems like they’ve thought this through. The owner claims it won’t bother the neighbors since no big changes are happening outside.
Plus, they say all the rooms are big enough and are set up to keep noise down. There’s also plenty of parking—eight spots, in fact—and room for bikes, which is a nice touch.
In the end, the applicant feels this plan fits well with the area and hopes the council will back it. Fingers crossed for them!
