A teenager faces attempted murder charges following a stabbing incident outside a college in Woolwich, leaving one student injured
Woolwich: So, there’s been a pretty serious incident at Shooters Hill College. A teenager got charged with attempted murder after another student was stabbed outside the school.
The accused, O’Quaine Simpson, who’s 19, allegedly tried to kill an 18-year-old student. He was also caught with a knife, which is just wild. This all went down on Monday around 4:20 PM.
When the police arrived, they found the injured student and rushed him to the hospital. At first, it sounded really bad, but thankfully, he’s stable now.
Simpson, who lives in Lewisham, is set to appear in court on Thursday. And get this, a 17-year-old girl was also arrested in connection with the case but has been released on bail while they keep investigating.
Because of how serious this attempted murder charge is, Simpson’s case will likely go to a crown court. Just the day before this incident, two other teens were stabbed in a different part of London. It’s been a rough time for the city.
And to top it off, a 14-year-old boy was tragically killed on a bus in Woolwich just the next day. It’s really concerning to see all this violence happening.
