A section of the A98 near Buckie will see a temporary speed limit of 30mph for essential work this week
Buckie: So, there’s going to be a temporary speed limit on the A98 near Buckie. It’s set at 30mph for part of this week.
This limit is because they need to do some CCTV survey work at Inchgower distillery from January 6 to 8.
But that’s not all. Scottish Gas Network will start work outside 16 Sterlochy Street in Findochty sometime between January 10 and 20. They’re installing a gas connection, and it could take up to 10 days.
They’re also fixing a leak on Rathven Road in Buckie. Busy times ahead!
Over in the March Road area, Openreach will be working outside No 1 from January 8 to 16 for about 13 days to put in a fibre duct.
And let’s not forget the ongoing repairs on McLaren’s Brae from all that heavy rain.
In Buckpool, Scottish Water will be clearing out a blocked toby outside No 54 from January 7 to 15, which should take around six days.
Just a heads up, all these dates are estimates and might change, so keep an eye out!
