A Tesco store in Bedworth was evacuated after loud bangs and smoke prompted an arson investigation by local police
Bedworth: So, there was this crazy scene at a Tesco store yesterday. Customers and staff had to clear out fast after they heard a loud bang and saw smoke filling the air.
People nearby said they noticed the smoke coming from the toilets, which is pretty alarming. It all went down in the afternoon, and the store had to shut its doors.
Today, the place is still closed while the police dig into what happened. They’re treating it as an arson case, which sounds serious.
A spokesperson from Warwickshire Police mentioned that they’ve already identified four young people who might be involved. They’re working with the fire service to get to the bottom of this.
