Cedar Park: So, there’s this wild story coming out of Texas. A 17-year-old girl named Aubrey Vanlandingham is in some serious trouble. She’s been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly poisoning a goat that belonged to a rival in a competition.

Apparently, she used a drench gun to force-feed the poor goat, named Willie, some toxic pesticide. This all went down at a barn at Vista Ridge High School last October. Can you believe it?

The crazy part? They have CCTV footage of her doing it, and she even confessed to the police. Sadly, the goat died about 21 hours later after suffering a lot. A necropsy showed it was due to organophosphate poisoning from the pesticide.

Aubrey thought the goat’s owner was cheating, which is why she did it. And get this—she had searched online about how to kill animals and even how to clear her search history. That’s just chilling.

If she’s found guilty, she could face up to two years in prison. The mother of the girl whose goat was killed is really upset and wants justice. She said it was traumatic for her daughter to witness the goat’s death. It’s a tough situation all around.
