A Houston woman faces charges for allegedly confining a child in a dog cage as punishment during the holiday season
Houston: A shocking incident has come to light involving a woman named Rose Anderson. She’s been arrested for allegedly tying up a seven-year-old girl and locking her in a dog cage under a Christmas tree.
According to reports, Anderson, who is 55 and a single mom juggling three jobs, used zip ties to restrain the girl. She even duct-taped the child’s mouth and kicked her while she was trapped. Can you believe that?
Prosecutors say the poor girl was left without food or water for hours and even urinated on herself while locked up. It’s just heartbreaking.
Anderson was supposed to be taking care of the child, but instead, she’s facing serious charges. She appeared in front of a magistrate recently, and it turns out she claimed she was trying to “discipline” the girl for her behavior at school.
Now, she’s been charged with injury to a child and unlawful restraint. She’s currently in Harris County Jail with a bond set at $10,000. Her next court date is coming up in January.
