Teesside: So, there’s this guy named Ellis Dismore, right? He was messaging young girls online, starting off all friendly. But then, things took a dark turn. He began demanding sexual images and even threatened violence if they didn’t comply.

This 24-year-old just got hit with a whopping 43-year sentence after being found guilty of a bunch of child sex offences and an attempted murder. The court heard that his creepy behavior went on for years, affecting nine known victims before he finally snapped in June 2023.

During the trial, it came out that Dismore was a pretty isolated guy. His history of offending actually started back in his teenage years, and it only escalated when he tried to murder his latest target.

In the days leading up to his attack, he sent some truly vile voice messages to the victim’s mom, making it clear he wanted to murder and rape the girl. It’s just chilling.

Cleveland Police tracked him as he wandered around a shop looking for knives before heading toward Middlesbrough, where his intended victim lived. He was caught on CCTV approaching her, pretending to be sick just to talk to her.

When the girl recognized his voice, she tried to escape, but he chased her down and stabbed her in the back. It’s just heartbreaking to think about.

Judge Timothy Stead, who sentenced him, pointed out how Dismore’s behavior had clearly escalated over time, leading to this horrific attempt on a young girl’s life.

He noted that Dismore targeted girls all around the same age, some as young as 13. It’s sickening to think about how much time and energy he put into this criminal activity.

Dismore used fake profiles to trick these girls into sending him indecent images, and when they refused, he threatened to share those images. It’s just a nightmare scenario.

He even tried to meet up with some of them for sexual activity, making threats if they didn’t go along with his plans. The judge really laid it out, saying how his initial messages seemed harmless but quickly turned nasty.

As time went on, he became more aggressive, demanding indecent images and making threats to rape and expose the girls. It’s a chilling reminder of how dangerous online predators can be.
