Reddish: So, there’s been a really sad situation in Stockport. Three guys have been charged over the death of a 16-year-old named Dean Barnes. He tragically lost his life in a motorbike crash.

This all went down on January 24, 2023, when Dean was riding a stolen motorbike. The accident happened on Ainsdale Grove, and sadly, he died at the scene from multiple injuries.

The three men charged showed up at Stockport Magistrates’ Court recently. Adam Norman, 36, is facing some serious charges, including causing death by dangerous driving. He’s from Brinnington but doesn’t have a fixed address right now.

Then there’s Alex Riley, 20, also from Brinnington, who’s charged with burglary and dangerous driving. And Callum Duncan, 28, from Reddish, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

They all appeared in court, but no pleas were entered. The magistrate, Alison Edwards, decided to adjourn the cases until February 6. That’s when they’ll go before a judge at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester.

For now, Norman is in custody, while Riley and Duncan are out on conditional bail. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
