Bristol: So, it turns out three more folks have been charged in connection with the double murder of Max and Mason. They were stabbed last January in Knowle West, which is just heartbreaking.

The new charges are against Ellie Maddocks, Dominic Smith, and Marcus Williams. Each of them is facing two counts of assisting an offender. They’ll be in front of the magistrates next Tuesday, January 7.

Previously, five people, including one man and four teens, were sentenced to life for the murders after a trial last fall. Two other guys, including one of the murderers’ older brothers, also got jail time for helping out.

Max and Mason were attacked right outside Mason’s home on Ilminster Avenue. It was the last Saturday of January 2024. After a long trial, a jury found several people guilty, and they all got life sentences, but their minimum terms vary based on their ages.

For instance, the oldest, Antony Snook, has to serve at least 38 years, while the younger ones have shorter minimums. It’s just a tragic situation all around.

Oh, and Bailey Wescott, Kodi’s older brother, along with another guy, Jamie Ogbourne, pleaded guilty to assisting an offender and got five years in December. It’s a lot to take in.
