Three of the seven stolen lurcher puppies have been found, but the search continues for the remaining four in Dorset
Dorset: So, here’s the scoop. Three out of the seven lurcher puppies that were stolen just after Christmas have been found. The family from Shroton was heartbroken when the little pups went missing.
Can you imagine? The pups were only five weeks old! The police said the family was left “devastated” after the theft happened late Saturday night. But guess what? They were over the moon when three of the puppies were returned after a big search effort.
However, the hunt is still on for the other four. Two people—a 28-year-old guy from east Dorset and a 22-year-old woman from Wimborne—have been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They’ve been released on bail, but the investigation is still rolling.
Police even shared a photo of the puppies since they still need their mom to feed them. PC Sebastian Haggett from the rural crime team said they’re really trying hard to find the missing pups.
He urged anyone who might know something to reach out. With all the buzz around this case, they’re worried the puppies could be abandoned. The police are super grateful for all the public support in spreading the word. Let’s hope they can bring those little ones home soon!
