Three teens have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old near a bus station in Bedford
Bedford: So, there’s been a really tragic incident in Bedford. A 17-year-old named Thomas Taylor was fatally stabbed near a bus station. It all went down around 5:50 PM on Wednesday.
Thomas was just walking along Greenhill Street when a group of guys attacked him. He was rushed to the hospital but sadly didn’t make it.
Police have arrested three teenagers—one 17-year-old and two 18-year-olds—on suspicion of murder. They’re currently being questioned. There was also a man in his 60s arrested for allegedly helping the offenders, but he’s been released on bail.
Detective Inspector Richard Stott, who’s leading the investigation, called it a shocking incident. He emphasized that this kind of knife crime and youth violence is unacceptable.
