The parents of Tiarnán Trainor express their eternal love during a heartfelt funeral service in Co Armagh
Killeavy: It was a heartbreaking day as Majella Campbell spoke at her son Tiarnán’s Requiem Mass. She shared how he “left this world too early.”
With tears in her eyes, she told everyone, “We will love him forever.” Tiarnán, or ‘TT’ as they called him, brought so much joy to their lives.
Majella described him as full of love, adventure, and energy. He truly made life exciting for everyone around him.
She and Conor, Tiarnán’s dad, said he was their whole world. They will always cherish the moments they had with their beautiful son.
The community has been incredibly supportive during this tough time. Majella thanked everyone for their kindness after losing her “very popular son.”
“Our lives will never be the same without him,” she said, adding that they will keep his memory alive in their hearts.
A touching tribute from Tiarnán’s dad highlighted the little things they will miss, like their daily chats and “I love yous.”
Tiarnán fought hard after the accident last Thursday near their home. Fr. Seamus White prayed for all the emergency workers who tried to save him.
“We thank them from the bottom of our hearts,” the priest said, recognizing the deep loss felt by family and friends.
Majella and Conor placed special items at the altar to represent Tiarnán’s personality, like a toy truck and his GAA jersey.
His schoolmates and teammates were there, sharing their own memories of a friend who always knew how to lift spirits.
Fr. White spoke about the grief that has touched the whole community since Tiarnán’s passing. He was loved by many.
Tiarnán had dreams of being a lorry driver and loved sports. He was curious about his family history and had a big heart.
The priest remembered how Tiarnán was always polite and thoughtful, especially towards his grandparents.
“He packed a lot of life into his 13 years,” Fr. White said, reminding everyone of the joy Tiarnán brought to their lives.
After the service, Tiarnán was laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, surrounded by love and memories.
