Noah Galle, a TikTok star, pleads guilty to a crash that killed six, receiving a 12-year sentence.
Palm Beach County: A TikToker known for speeding has struck a plea deal after a tragic crash that took six lives. Noah Galle, just 20, was driving his fancy BMW at 150 mph when he rear-ended an SUV in January 2022.
He could have faced a hefty 55 years behind bars, but instead, he got a 12-year sentence. Galle, the son of a well-known attorney, had gained fame on TikTok by challenging followers to guess his speed while he sped down highways.
In court, he expressed remorse through his lawyer, saying he wished he had died instead of the victims. The crash victims were all carpooling home from work when Galle hit them. Family members of the victims didn’t show up for the hearing.
Many in the community were upset about the sentence, calling it a joke for the lives lost. Some even commented on the sheriff’s Facebook page, expressing their anger. The prosecutor mentioned that the victims’ families didn’t object to the plea deal, with some not wanting Galle to serve time at all.
As part of his sentence, Galle has to post a video about safe driving, do community service, and attend a panel to hear from crash victims. His driver’s license is also revoked for three years. It’s a tough situation all around, and no amount of time will bring back those lost lives.
