A beloved 17-year-old was tragically killed in a stabbing incident, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
Bedford: A tragic incident unfolded when a popular teenager was fatally stabbed near a bus station. Thomas Taylor, just 17, was attacked by a group of guys while walking along Greenhill Street.
It was around 5:50 PM on Wednesday when the attack happened. Thomas was rushed to the hospital but sadly didn’t make it. The police are on the hunt for the suspects, who fled the scene.
His headteacher, Chris Deller, shared how respected Thomas was, especially after doing well in his exams. The school community is heartbroken over this loss.
Detective Chief Inspector Katie Dounias is leading the investigation. She called the incident shocking, especially since it happened in a busy area. The police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Superintendent Hob Hoque reassured residents that they’re increasing patrols in Bedford. He emphasized that knife crime is unacceptable and they’re working hard to find those responsible.
