Sophia Kelemen, a six-month-old baby from Leigh, died after being hit by a car in Tenby, prompting an investigation into the incident.
Tenby: It’s such a heartbreaking story. Little Sophia Kelemen, just six months old, was in a serious accident at a car park in Tenby. This happened on January 2, and she was rushed to the hospital.
Sadly, she didn’t make it and passed away on January 3. Her family must be going through an unimaginable time right now.
A man named Flaviu Naghi, 33, from Wigan, has been charged with causing her death by dangerous driving. He was also driving without a license and insurance, which is just awful.
The police have said they’re supporting Sophia’s family during this tough time. It’s just so tragic to hear about such a young life lost.
Naghi is facing serious charges and has been remanded to appear in court. He was also arrested for drink and drug driving, but he’s out on bail for those charges.
It’s a tough situation for everyone involved, and our hearts go out to Sophia’s family.
