A horrific crash on New Year’s Day in Hull has left two teens dead and three others critically injured, prompting a police appeal for information
Hull: A tragic accident happened on New Year’s Day, leaving two teenagers dead and three others fighting for their lives. It’s just heartbreaking.
The crash took place in the Preston area of Hull. An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were passengers in a Volkswagen Golf when the accident occurred. Sadly, they didn’t make it.
Two other teens in the car are in critical condition and are getting medical care. The driver of the Golf only had minor injuries, which is a small relief in this awful situation.
Another car, a Vauxhall Grandland, was also involved. A 62-year-old man in that car is in serious condition, along with a 34-year-old woman who hurt her arm badly.
Police are asking for help from anyone who might have seen what happened. They want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage or witnesses who haven’t come forward yet.
