Worcester and Hereford train services will be suspended for six days due to essential engineering work
Worcester: So, here’s the scoop. West Midlands Railway just announced that trains between Worcester and Hereford are taking a break from January 26 to January 31. They’re doing some important engineering work, so no trains will be running during that time.
But don’t worry! They’ll have rail replacement buses to help you get around while they fix the tracks. It’s all about keeping things safe and sound.
Now, if you’re wondering which routes are affected, here’s the lowdown. On Sunday, January 26, trains between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford won’t be running at all. Plus, some trains from Birmingham New Street will be diverted, so keep an eye out for that.
From Monday, January 27 to Friday, January 31, the same deal applies. No trains between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford. But again, there will be replacement buses to help you out.
Oh, and just a heads up: the car park at Ledbury Train Station will have limited access from 10 PM on January 25 until 6 AM on February 1. So plan accordingly!
