Fran Healy, the singer of Glasgow band Travis, suffered serious ankle injury in Seattle. He received hospital care but will perform in Salt Lake City
Fran shared a video about it on social media. He posted it on Tuesday, February 4th. He’s the singer from the band Travis, you know?
Travis started way back in 1990. They’re from Glasgow and won a Brit Award. You know their songs like “Sing” and “Side,” right? The band also did “Flowers In The Window” and “Closer.” The band has four members: Fran, Dougie Payne, Andy Dunlop, and Neil Primrose.
Fran said he was wheeled out on a stretcher and put into an ambulance. It happened after the Seattle show because of his ankle. His ankle twisted badly when he stepped off the stage. The band thought it was broken at first.
Thankfully, it was just a bad sprain instead, and he now has a big special shoe. He said he’s doing okay, just dizzy from pain meds. The show in Salt Lake City would still happen. The band also posted about it on X, saying he sprained his ankle but he’s fine.
