Woolwich: A tragic incident unfolded when a schoolboy was stabbed on a bus. Friends are heartbroken, calling him “a good friend” and remembering him fondly.
The 14-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene in Woolwich, south-east London, just before 2:30 PM on Tuesday. It’s such a shock for everyone.
Forensic teams were seen working on the bus later that evening. Meanwhile, police are still searching for the person responsible, and no arrests have been made yet.
His friends shared how he was taken too soon and that he loved playing football. One friend said, “He didn’t deserve this. He was a nice person.”
Another local resident expressed disbelief, saying, “A 14-year-old boy stabbed in broad daylight on a bus. What is the world coming to?”
The attack happened on a Route 472 bus near a busy road. Superintendent Louise Sergent called it a “horrendous crime” and assured the public that they are working quickly to find the suspect.
She mentioned that a local officer on patrol was the first to respond. Sadly, despite paramedics’ efforts, the boy died shortly after they arrived.
