Family and friends remember Ruth Marina Campos Silva Myers after her tragic death in a Christmas Eve accident
Buckhurst Hill: It’s such a sad story. A 65-year-old woman named Ruth was killed in a crash on Christmas Eve. Her family is heartbroken and has shared how vibrant and wonderful she was.
The accident happened just after 7:30 AM, and Ruth didn’t survive. Two teenagers and a 20-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the crash but are currently out on bail.
Ruth worked at Liberty of London, and her family described her as the cornerstone of their lives. They said she was cherished by everyone who knew her. Losing her so suddenly is just devastating.
Essex Police are asking anyone with information or footage of the incident to come forward. They’re particularly interested in anyone who saw a grey Jaguar XJ around the time of the crash.
Detective Sergeant Sam Nason expressed his condolences to Ruth’s family and mentioned that they’re being supported by specialist officers. It’s a tough time for everyone involved.
