Trump responds to the hush money case ruling, attacking the judge and Democrats for their actions against him
New York: So, Trump is at it again. He’s really fired up after the judge in his hush money case decided not to drop the charges. He’s not holding back, calling out Judge Juan Merchan and saying the Democrats are just out to get him.
He claims they want to see him suffer because all their other attempts to take him down have flopped. Trump told Fox News that legal experts think there’s “no case” here and called the whole thing a “witch hunt.”
He’s also not shy about calling the judge corrupt. Trump mentioned he’s under a gag order, which means he can’t talk about what he really wants to say. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly.
Merchan shot down Trump’s request to dismiss the case and set the sentencing for January 10. That’s just ten days before Trump is supposed to be sworn in again on January 20.
Remember, he was found guilty last May on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to that hush money payment to Stormy Daniels. It’s a wild ride, and it looks like it’s far from over.
