Three individuals face charges related to arson incidents in Birmingham, including a car fire and an attempted blaze at a property
Birmingham: So, there’s been some serious trouble in Stechford. Two guys and a teenager are in hot water for setting fires. It all kicked off when emergency services rushed to Albert Road just before 10 PM on a Sunday. A car was ablaze, and that was just the start.
Then, on New Year’s Day, they got another call about someone trying to light up the street again. Now, the police have charged these three with arson and even witness intimidation. They’re set to face the music at Birmingham Magistrates Court.
West Midlands Police confirmed that Mohammed Jenghis Khan, 34, Mohammed Kamran Khan, 22, and a 14-year-old are the ones in trouble. They were all in court today, dealing with the fallout from their actions.
According to the police, they were called out to that car fire on Sunday night. And on New Year’s Eve, someone tried to torch a property, but thankfully, the fire was put out before it could do much damage.
Luckily, no one got hurt in any of this mess. The police are still digging into the situation, checking out CCTV footage from around the area. If anyone knows something, they’re urging folks to reach out via 101 or Live Chat, quoting log 179 from January 1.
