In Aldershot, police made two arrests after spotting suspicious activity linked to drug dealing, leading to the seizure of cash and drugs.
Aldershot: So, the police were out and about on January 17, keeping an eye on things. They noticed some sketchy behavior with a Renault Megane around 9:15 AM on Windmill Road.
When they checked it out, they found some suspected Class A and B drugs, two mobile phones, and £35 in cash. Everything was taken for further investigation.
They arrested a 20-year-old guy on suspicion of trying to supply those drugs. He’s been bailed while they dig deeper into the case.
Later that day, around 1:30 PM, the cops spotted another suspicious vehicle, this time a Nissan Note on Bridge Road.
After searching it, they discovered cannabis, some nitrous oxide canisters, and £150 in cash, plus another mobile phone. All of that was seized too.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B and C drugs. He’s also been bailed while the investigation continues.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary mentioned that these proactive stops led to the arrests, showing their commitment to tackling drug offenses in the area.
