Three Afghan men arrested in the UK for their role in a brutal people trafficking ring that abused vulnerable migrants
London: So, three Afghan guys got busted in the UK for being part of a really nasty people trafficking ring. They were already in hot water back in Belgium for treating migrants horribly.
The National Crime Agency and the Metropolitan Police teamed up to catch these guys. They were involved in some serious stuff, including sexual abuse of young male migrants. Can you believe that?
These criminals were known for smuggling people from Afghanistan through a bunch of countries before getting them to the UK. They even filmed their awful acts to blackmail the victims. Just sickening.
They were arrested in different spots like south London and Essex. One of them, Ziarmal Khan, was caught in Essex, while the others were nabbed in London and Hemel Hempstead.
Recently, a Belgian court sentenced them and others in their gang to prison terms ranging from two to 18 years. They’re looking at extradition back to Belgium to serve their time.
The NCA is really on it, saying they won’t stop until they take down these awful gangs. The home secretary called the whole situation sickening and praised the hard work of the officers involved.
