Warwick Davis is pursuing legal action against a London hospital after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Samantha, last year
London: So, Warwick Davis is in the news for taking legal action against a hospital. This comes after the heartbreaking death of his wife, Samantha, last year. She was just 53 when she passed away on March 24.
Samantha had a tough fight with sepsis, meningitis, and Strep B infections. Warwick has hired a law firm to help him with this case. They’re looking into what went wrong at the hospital.
There was supposed to be an inquest into her death today. The coroner, Mrs. Jean Harkin, said it would help provide some answers. Warwick and their daughter Annabelle were set to be there, but the hearing got postponed because Warwick couldn’t make it.
According to reports, Warwick is suing the London hospital, as mentioned by the Daily Mail. Samantha was also an actress, known for her roles in Harry Potter and Willow. Together, they had two kids, Harrison and Annabelle.
After her passing, Warwick shared how much he misses her. He said, “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs.” He described her as someone who always saw the bright side of life and had a great sense of humor.
Warwick reflected on how much she meant to him, saying, “With her by my side, I was sure I could achieve anything.” He also mentioned that without her support, many of his projects wouldn’t have happened.
Their kids, Harrison and Annabelle, also paid tribute to their mom, saying her love and happiness were everything to them. They felt lucky to have had her in their lives.
Samantha, born on January 30, 1971, lived with achondroplasia, which is a form of dwarfism. Tragically, she had accepted her fate after being rushed to the hospital six years before her death.
Back in 2018, she bravely talked about her struggles with the infections she got after spinal surgery. She shared her fears of dying, saying, “For four days I cried, ‘I don’t want to die.’” It’s heartbreaking to think about what she went through.
