Watford Council discussed new warehouse plans. These buildings replace Flexspace, which is on Greenhill Crescent. The plans also include office space.

Officers studied the proposal since last June. The council approved it quickly, with the meeting lasting only ten minutes. They followed officer recommendations; this happened yesterday evening.

Councillor Watkin spoke before the vote. He called the current building derelict and stated the proposal improves things significantly.

Popular businesses had to move out before the decision. Tony & Maria’s left, Lion Thai Boxing moved on, and Cagefit Gyms relocated to Greycaine Road.

Two new warehouses are planned, covering 5,128 square meters, almost the size of a football pitch. The development includes 27 parking spots.

The council added extra rules to limit how the site can be used. This reduces noise for nearby residents of Croxley View.
