A woman was threatened with a gun after pursuing a thief who stole her handbag in south Belfast
Belfast: So, there was this wild incident in south Belfast. A woman in her 20s was just going about her day when a guy snatched her handbag right off her shoulder. Can you believe that?
It all went down around 3:10 PM on Ormeau Road. She was crossing the street when this thief made his move. But instead of just letting it go, she decided to chase him down.
Things took a scary turn when, at the junction of Burmah Street and Ava Avenue, the guy turned around and pointed what looked like a gun at her. Yikes! He then took off towards Parkmore Street.
The poor woman ended up with a cut on her knee and was pretty shaken up after the whole ordeal. The police are on the case, and they’re asking anyone who saw anything to reach out. They want to catch this guy, so if you know something, don’t hesitate to call them.
