A woman has been taken into custody for murder following the discovery of a man’s body in Greater Manchester
Greater Manchester: A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a home. The police discovered the body of a man in his 50s on Sunday morning.
The grim discovery was made at a house on Hope Hey Lane in Little Hulton. Officers responded to calls just before 7:30 AM and found the victim inside.
According to the police, a post-mortem examination revealed that the man’s injuries were consistent with an assault. This led to the arrest of the woman in her 40s, who is now being questioned.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Higginson mentioned that they have launched a murder investigation and have a dedicated team working tirelessly to piece together what happened.
He assured the public that there’s no wider threat, but residents might notice more police presence as they continue their inquiries.
