A 20-year-old woman with a long criminal history is sentenced for assaulting a nurse and police officers while in custody
Recently, she found herself back in trouble after biting a nurse and kicking police officers. The Liverpool Crown Court didn’t take it lightly.
She got hit with a sentence for two counts of assaulting emergency workers and one for using threatening behavior. Plus, she had a few drug charges on her plate too.
On November 18, around 1 AM, Cheshire Police caught her with illegal drugs near the Warrington Bus Interchange. They found her with clonazepam and pregabalin tablets.
After being taken into custody, they discovered she also had cannabis. Concerned for her health, they took her to the hospital, where she didn’t hold back. She was verbally abusive and even kicked an officer.
The next day, while still in the hospital, she bit a nurse. The court was shocked to hear about her extensive criminal record, with over a hundred previous convictions at just 20 years old.
Last May, she spent nine weeks in a young offender institution for sending offensive messages and even punched a vulnerable 15-year-old girl.
In March, she was locked up for a year for assaulting emergency workers by pinching and kicking them. Given her long history, the court decided she needed to serve time, sentencing her to seven months in prison this time around.
